The annual Dingle marathon is taking place in Dingle on Saturday 7th September which will result in rolling road closures on that day.
As a result of these road closures along the route of 277 a& b and Route 268 the following service alterations will apply.
Route 277a Dingle Daingean Uí Chúis – Ceann Trá – Baile an Fheirtéaraigh – Dún Chaoin
Dingle departure at 09:00hrs is cancelled
Dunquin departure at 09:34 is cancelled.
Route 277b Dingle Daingean Uí Chúis – Ceann Trá – Dún Chaoin – Baile an Fheirtéaraigh – Dingle Daingean Uí Chúis (Lower Slea Head)
Dingle departure at 10.35 is cancelled
Route 268 at 12:30 Dingle Daingean Uí Chúis – Gallarus – An Mhuirioch – Baile na nGall – An Fheothanach – An Cuas – Dingle Daingean Uí Chúis
Dingle departure at 12.30 is cancelled
Other notes:
Due to road closure at Milltown roundabout the return leg of earlier service Dunquin depart at 08:04 will use the new road when returning to SuperValu bus stop.
The route 268 services will use new/link road detour also for the duration of road closures except for the 12:30 leg of Route 268 which is cancelled.
All other services will operate but passengers should be advised to expect delays and that no onward connections can be guaranteed.
